Basic Life and AD&D Insurance

  1. Will I receive Basic Life and AD&D coverage?

    For store employees working 35 hours or more

    Yes. You will receive coverage in the amount of $5,000 for Basic Life and AD&D at no cost to you. The Partnership covers 100% of the cost.

    For store/general managers

    Yes. You will receive coverage in the amount of $25,000 for Basic Life and AD&D at no cost to you. The Partnership covers 100% of the cost.

  2. Will my eligible dependents receive Basic Life coverage?

    For store employees

    No. Neither Basic Life nor AD&D coverage is available for your eligible dependents.

    For store/general managers

    Yes. Your spouse will receive Life coverage in the amount of $10,000 and your child(ren) in the amount of $5,000. There is no AD&D coverage offered to your spouse and children.

  3. What does Basic Life and AD&D insurance cover?

    The coverage gives your beneficiaries financial protection if you should die or are dismembered in an accident.

  4. How do I name my beneficiaries for Basic Life and AD&D coverage?

    You will be asked to name your beneficiaries when you enroll for benefits. You are automatically named the beneficiary of your dependent’s life insurance coverage.

  5. Who is the Basic Life and AD&D administrator?

    The Hartford administers Basic Life and AD&D coverage.

  6. How much will I pay for Basic Life and AD&D?

    You will receive Basic Life and AD&D coverage at no cost to you. The Company covers 100% of the cost.
