Long Term Disability (For Managers and Managers in Training)

  1. Will I receive Long Term Disability coverage?

    Yes, if you elect the coverage when you enroll for benefits.

  2. What does Long Term Disability cover?

    You will receive 60% of your monthly earnings, up to a maximum of $10,000 per month, if you have a qualified disability as approved by Sun Life. You must work an average of 35 hours or more per week to be eligible for this coverage.

  3. Who is the Long Term Disability administrator?

    Sun Life administers Long Term Disability coverage.

  4. How much will I pay for Long Term Disability?

    You and the Partnership share the cost of coverage. Please see your Benefits Guide for additional details.

  5. Am I required to provide Evidence of Insurability (EOI) to enroll in Long Term Disability coverage?

    If you did not elect this coverage when first eligible you will be required to provide EOI to enroll in Long Term Disability coverage.
